| Guidelines |
This section of the Duke Trauma Center site provides a listing of the trauma guidelines developed by Duke Trauma Center and/or the Duke RAC. These are intended for use by Duke RAC members who would find them useful. Realize that these are intended as guidelines and should be considered as such. Every facility may not be able to provide all the care mentioned in the algorithm and some may be able to provide more. Please feel free to review these and adapt them to your facility's needs and capabilities.
If you have guidelines or protocols that you think would be helpful to share please send them to the Duke RAC meeting for review. Many have excellent guidelines in place now and we do not need to reinvent anything. The more we share the stronger care of the trauma patient becomes.
Please send any comments or ideas you have to the Duke RAC. The address is: Box 3402, DUMC, Durham, NC 27710.
